Don’t miss this opportunity to give feedback on Union County’s housing and community development plans. Our Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program wants to hear from you as we finalize the 2026-2030 Five-Year Consolidated Plan and the Fiscal Year 2026 Annual Action Plan.
The Consolidated Plan explains how the County will use federal funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and shares the needs for improving living conditions in the County and sets priorities to address community needs and improve living conditions throughout Union County. The Plan also establishes priorities for housing, homelessness, social services, community development, and economic development. The Consolidated Plan also includes the Annual Action Plan, which outlines how the County will spend its CDBG funds and the specific goals it will address.
The draft plans are available for public viewing, and comments are welcome until Friday, May 29, 2026.
