The Register of Deeds Office proudly serves as a Passport Acceptance Facility for Union County residents. Our team can accept your completed passport application and submit it to the U.S. Department of State, which reviews applications and makes all final passport issuance decisions.
Before your visit, be sure to review passport requirements and download application forms at travel.state.gov. All specific information regarding applying for a passport can also be located online.
Passport Service Hours: Walk-ins only
Monday-Friday (excluding holidays)
8:30 a.m.-noon
2:30 p.m.-4 p.m.
Passport services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. While we make every effort to assist everyone who arrives before closing, we cannot guarantee that all visitors waiting in line will be seen by 4 p.m.
